In Paia village and 2 minutes to the beach. Complimentary continental breakfast.
Bamboo floors were very noisy, we were in a downstairs room, and could hear every footstep from the upstairs unit.

Here's my unfiltered experience
A charming gem with good staff! The cozy rooms provide a cute atmosphere that instantly feels like home. Beautiful beach access nearby adds to the allure. My room was petite yet functional, meeting our needs. Just be prepared for potential street noise and tightly packed parking. This spot is perfect for those seeking a unique getaway!

An amazing place to stay with super attractive friendly women on the staff. I was traveling with my lover but we both were intrigued by the kindness and beauty that we saw everyday at the fort desk.

Our suite had a courtyard with a fountain. How relaxing! Each unit is different. Staff treated us like family, joining them at their beach house on the ocean. If we mentioned anything, by the time we went back to our suite, it was done! Amazing. Good Lord, they separate guests' garbage to recycle it!
Gee, put out recycle bins so I can do it myself. There isn't anything I didn't like. However, this hotel is not for folks who want to stay in a hermetically sealed air conditioned box. A friendly cat wandered through our courtyard and a salamander or two. I loved it, but some folks don't. The townsfolk are friendly, low key and unpretentious. We felt very at home with them. But again, I recognize that other tourists prefer a mini-Riviera kinda' thing.

great service but high price
The staff provided a warm welcome. Our room was quiet despite its location on the main street.

Friendly staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to be helpful. The room was small (which we knew when we booked) but comfortable and with some amenities not found in typical hotel rooms (magnifying makeup mirror, sound spa). The location was excellent with the main street out front and the beach out back. We only had one night there but would have loved to have spent more time.

The Paia Inn was one of the best hotels I've ever experienced. We liked how small and intimate it was. The lobby, common area, and room were all stylish and really cool. We received excellent customer service and would definitely go back again.

The hotel was set in a central area very close to an incredible Pizza restaurant called The Flatbread Company which was recommended by the stuff, the ocean with the choice of setting up on the beach or in a secluded grassed area, and the nice garden. I ate at the attached restaurant near the property.

Breakfasts are super and awesome!!
The location is great and stunning and they have parking on-site. For tea and goodies visit Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice, located close by.

Paia Inn is lovely, nice staff, clean, excellent and relaxing breakfast, great location and access to beautiful and mostly private beaches. One major negative - rooms are ridiculously small!
The small rooms do not function. Absolutely no place to hang clothes and no place to hang a wet towel or swimsuit in bathroom. Not enough room to have suitcases and walk around room. Hooks would be a major improvement. My husband and I are both architects and can appreciate the effort the designer/owner put into this place, but the rooms are barely functional and gives good design a black eye.
